Why shower management?<\/strong>

You have certainly noticed and heard it in the media: recently, global energy prices have increased exponentially.
This is why we created this application and this home automation module<\/a> to manage energy and water consumption for your shower.
At any time, everyone can keep an eye on the costs related to their shower cycles.

This home automation module is particularly useful when a shared shower is used by multiple people: student accommodations, co-living spaces, gyms, campsites, hotels, or bed and breakfasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our two operating formulas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To best adapt to your needs and the type of establishment, MyShower offers two distinct management modes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Instant online payment via QR Code<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ideal for simple use without requiring the user to create an account.

Each shower is equipped with a unique QR code. The user simply scans it with their smartphone to be redirected to a secure online payment interface.

Once payment is completed, the valve opens automatically for a specified duration.

As simple as that!<\/strong>

2. User account and prepaid management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This system allows you to assign credit or have each customer prepay a time reserve for shower usage.

This gives regular users a sense of fairness and ensures they only pay the bill corresponding to their actual consumption (see history<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using the application:<\/strong>
Once the home automation box is installed and registration is complete on MyShower.be, accessing the “Management”<\/strong> menu unlocks the \u201cStart\u201d<\/strong> button to log in and start the cycle.

The solenoid valve opens to provide access to hot water. As soon as the tap is opened, the meter records consumption in real-time and displays it on the app.

After a few moments of inactivity, the solenoid valve closes automatically. It is also possible to manually close your cycle using the \u201cStop\u201d<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consumption can be viewed at any time in the history<\/a> menu.<\/p>\n\n\n

Subtlety:<\/strong>
A cycle cannot be started while another user is in the shower. If a user forgets to close their session, the system checks for inactivity and automatically closes the cycle after a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Security and backup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In case of an internet connection issue or if a mobile phone is forgotten, the user can start their cycle using an RFID key or a personal PIN code.

The home automation box includes an RFID reader (several keys and cards are provided during installation). Additionally, a personal PIN code can be set during website registration.<\/p>\n\n\n

As a last resort (for example in the event of a power outage), a padlock-secured mechanical valve can be manually unlocked using a physical key.<\/p>\n\n\n
